An Outdated Kitchen Gets a Facelift
This outdated kitchen had good bones, but not much style or functionality. We addressed those issues within the homeowner’s budget by not making significant changes to basic framework of the kitchen. We revived the original cabinets by refacing them with sleek new doors and hardware. We love the look of the light, bright upper cabinets, and counter and the contrast of the grey lower cabinets!
We made a few structural changes too. We moved the original wall oven and replaced it with a range. We added storage with a new custom-built pantry and replaced the existing microwave cabinet with a brand new one. The original kitchen peninsula was a bit too high. We lowered it, and now family members can sit and enjoy a meal at the counter or hang out and chat a while!
The new lighting and gorgeous quartz counters add charm and elegance to the space. Even the brand new tile floor adds beauty with its unique pattern. All in all, we love the look of this updated new kitchen!
